What a crap Monday. Woke up to gloom and rain which is now starting to freeze.  This weather needs to just move on already. Color me over it, whatever color that may be.  I'm pretty sure that would be either grey or shit brown.  Just sayin'.

This weather left me feeling completely uninspired tonight. I wandered around looking for something exciting to do but just never found what I was looking for.

In light of this rather depressed mood, I decided I would pull out one of the new China Glaza Hologlams and play with that a bit.  I have five of them and chose Not in This Galaxy because it's the "perkiest" of the ones I have.
It does show more holo in real life, but I was having a tough time catching it. This is always an issue when I'm trying to show off the holo-ie goodness of something. Pretty enough, right? But of course I couldn't just leave it alone; I had to do something on it.

I grabbed my trusty DRK-A plate and Sephora by OPI Ruby Without a Cause and got to stamping. I was surprised at how well the stamping showed up in the picture. In person it's super subtle!

Before I finish up, I want to say a sincere thank you to those of you taking the time to read, follow and comment. I'm shocked at the number of views in less than a week!  I hope you find it worth following and coming back to see what I've done. I'm enjoying this and want you to enjoy it, too. So thank you!!

  1. this is my bedtime reading each evening now. It was getting late so I figured you had the night off ... but alas, here is your awesome blog. Question: whenever I have painted nails at night, I wake up with marks on the polish from the sheets (the weave). How do you get your nails so dry that that doesn't happen, or is it that you just don't go to bed?

    1. It's all about the topcoat! I used to have that happen all the time. I use Seche Vite Dry Fast Topcoat. It dries in a few minutes and you'll never have that problem again. I bought mine on Amazon, but our Walmart carries it so I know it's out there in the stores. Sally Beauty carries it, too.
