April Showers? Nope!

Merry Christmas!!
THIS is what I woke up to this morning. Ain't it purdy? Why, yes. Yes, it is. If it was December. Unbelievable. This is the lovely U.P. weather that makes all of us Yoopers ask, "Why do I live here?"
Chris was showing enough improvement to be brought out a little from being kept under but pulled out the intubation tube and had to be re-sedated. Tonight's update said that they have figured out what bacteria it is that's causing the infection, which is good because they can use the appropriate antibiotic. I'm taking this as good news, but it appears that things are still really up in the air. Pray on, please.
My bunch of friends are still hanging with the red theme, so tonight I thought I'd show something different.  A few months back Custom Nail Solutions had asked me to do a mani using the Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail wraps for some media things. I had a hell of a time making them work. I hated them. Really, really hated them. I found them difficult to work with, and I swore I would never try them again.
Flash forward to about a month ago. I bought some polish on eBay, and the seller included a box of them as a freebie. They've been chilling in a bin on top of my Helmer.  Since they're red, I decided I would give them a shot. This time I found them a little easier to apply, and I think they look pretty decent. I'm taking them off once I'm finished here probably and doing something else, but I don't hate 'em.  I'll be reviewing Jamberry nail wraps at some point, hopefully soon. It'll be interesting to compare the two brands. Without further adieu, Sally Hansen Salon Effects "Wishnets". Clever name!

What do you think? Like I said, I don't hate them. It would be interesting to see how they would hold up, but I just can't leave something on my nails long enough to find out. lol
If you guys have any suggestion or ideas for what you'd like to see on my blog, speak up, dammit! I can't read your minds!  Or if you just have some questions, ask away. Then I would have a reason to put a "FAQ" section somewhere. lol
Have a great Friday night!
