PURPLE. LOVE IT.

Well, I'm officially stuck at my house until Monday. There is so much snow there is just no way my car would ever make it out of the driveway. I keep going out and shoveling the damn deck, trying to keep a jump on it, but it just keeps filling up again. 

I went out at 3:00 a.m. to shovel before going to bed last night, and it was at that point I realized I was screwed.  And once again, I got up this morning to find another few inches. I shoveled again and hopefully the snow is done accumulating because my arm has had enough.

When I did my latest CNS request mani's, they asked for stripes. They didn't really specify so I decided to do something other than just a straight single stripe.

I actually really like how this looks. It's not often I do an accent nail, but I think it works well here.  The darker purple is a Color Club with no name on the bottle, and the lighter is China Glaze Harmony. 

I passed it along to NailIt Magazine, and they liked it so the tutorial will be showing up on the website sometime soon.

It seems I've been kind of striping tape crazy lately. If I can decide on colors, maybe I'll try something else this weekend. I do have an idea in mind so we'll see if I can actually do it.  Sometimes those things that look easy end up being difficult.

Possible frustration and excessive swearing in my future. lol
