OH, THIS SHIZ IS GONNA' STAIN

Geez, where did the last few days go? I just realized I haven't posted in damn near a week. Shame on me.

I don't really have an excuse; I'm once again not working until who knows when. I've cleaned some random things around the house. I did all the laundry only to discover on the last load that the freakin' thing was leaking again. What's more fun that having to pull out the washer and dryer by myself to clean up a lake? Answer: almost anything.

Yesterday I cleaned the entire house. I bought a new floor steam cleaner because my 4 year old one finally died. My new one has a hand-held section that comes off, so I lifted the top on my gas stove and got to steaming. I love the thing and keep looking around the house to see what else I can use it on.

Other than all that fun I spent quite a bit of time working on CNS requests and a couple of tutorials for Nail It.  CNS wanted fuschia, and I always go through my previous pics to see if I have anything to submit. Evidently I don't wear a lot of fuschia. All I found was one that could barely be considered fuschia so I had to do a couple last night. It's a good thing I did this one last because when I take this off, something tells me I'm going to have very pink fingers.
Kleancolor Metallic Fuschia
This is Kleancolor Metallic Fuschia.  And there is no denying it's fuschia.  When I first put it on my left hand I thought it was a bit much. After living with it for about an hour I actually decided to put it on my right hand, too. I'll probs wear it for today and then maybe stamp over it with black tonight. We'll see.

And now I'm thinking I might just grab the steamer and do the grout in front of the fireplace.  Just for funsies.

  1. Love the fuschia and I hope it doesn't stain. How about silver stamping?

Now who has the cleaning bug?

    1. Normally I would do silver stamping, but I did another fuschia one for CNS last night that I did silver on. That's why I'm thinking I'll try black on this one. I still haven't decided if I like this or if it's too bright for me when I'm not tan. lol
I'm thinking I'll next tackle the 2 closets I haven't already done. I just feel guilty sitting around doing nothing every day.

    1. No, the steamer is for cleaning hard floors, although it does have a holder that you can put it on to freshen up carpets. I'll post a pic in nail fun of what I bought.
      And yeah, this is hella-bright.

  4. I think I would almost, maybe, possibly venture wearing that color even with all of my paleness (since I don't tan). My oldest daughter calls me Caspar. But that would also mean I would have to NOT wear my polishes that are all so dark they are borderline black. I def think I would have to stamp it in black like you're thinking - well, that is IF I had any stamping plates to do anything with. Beautiful color though!

Oh and guess what it's doing at my house today?????? SNOWING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Won't get anywhere near the amount you have though.

    1. I'm a super white girl, too. I never used to think I could wear dark colors, but it really is just a matter of getting used to it. Try it! You might be surprised.
